Golfing is one of those activities that attract people to Scotland, Prestonfield Golf Club and Craigmillar Park Golf Club are just minutes away and well worth doing a few holes. These are just a couple of course to mention. St Andrews on the most prestigious courses is less than 1 hour, but if you plan on being there you need to book the course in advance.

Edinburgh airport is found to the west of the city and about 15 minutes away from the apartment, it would cost about £20 in a taxi and it would take about 30 minutes, car hire Edinburgh would do it for less. Alternatively there are bus services at regular times throughout the city centre.
